Was looking for an AYCE sushi place, and was first in doubt with Toshi as our final option. However, it proved to be a good choice after all. The restaurant is tucked away on the 1st floor of the Grand Millennium Hotel, probably doesn't have a stand alone restaurant feel because of that, but overall ambience is just about OK, nothing that'll blow your senses.
Coming to the food, the Sushi, I would say it's average to good on the rolls, again not much of a "wow" factor, however, their sashimi cuts are quite good. Even better was their Pan-Asian rest of the buffet, the choices although limited, was flavorful and a nice balance.
Soft beverages are included are in the buffet. Alcoholic beverages are at a discounted happy hour price which are also quite reasonable.
Overall a good choice for a good balance of Sushi and Pan-Asian buffet for a reasonable price.

We have been dine in at Toshi for the last 10 years and, by far, this last experience was the worst. Staff is still nice and helpful but they have significantly reduced the buffet options. Quality of sushi still good, the rest not worth it. They have removed many things like crab legs and srims that make the actual buffett disappointing.

We have been coming for years to Toshi because of its Theme night. Specifically the seafood and sushi night. Lately we came 3 times since march and noticed the change in variety and quality. And definitely not a sushi night. Tonight I asked what happened. They informed us no more theme night it’s just a buffet every night.
Though on website and entertainer still same description.
It just beats the purpose.
It was our favorite weekly go to place. We were very disappointed. And their best sushi chef is not there for more than 2 months now so the very little sushi choice has declined in quality.
I hope they bring it back to what it made it standout as a buffet.

I used to go to this place when it was on the top floor. First time visiting the first floor and the experience was horrible. Almost no waiters available, they never refilled the trays until we left. We had to wait 20 mins for drinks. What a joke!

The experience yesterday was really horrible in every aspect, from the food to the reception and valet service. I had visited the restaurant before and experienced excellent sushi quality and a great variety on their open buffet. However, yesterday was completely different — the selection looked very poor, and unfortunately I did not enjoy the taste of any of the food. I don’t recommend it to anyone anymore

We are loyal customers and usually visit 2–3 times per month. We understand the buffet price increase and removal of soft drinks, but the food variety has clearly been reduced.
On top of that, the AC was not working and despite being told several times it would be adjusted, nothing changed. It was very uncomfortable.
Paying more for less variety and poor comfort is disappointing.

I’ve been a regular guest at Toshi for over four years, frequently visiting for the buffet and always appreciating the consistency, atmosphere, and overall experience. It used to be one of those places you could rely on without a second thought.
This time, however, the experience has been disappointing even before arriving. We were planning to celebrate a birthday and specifically chose Toshi for its buffet. To be on the safe side, we called in advance to reconfirm that the buffet would be available the next day and this was not communicated to us at all.
Only by chance, we got to know that the concept had changed to a la carte. This was just one day before the event, leaving us with very limited time to completely rethink our plans.
The issue is not the change itself, it’s understandable that concepts evolve, but the lack of clear and consistent communication. As a long-time customer, I would have expected at least some proactive notice, especially when such a change directly impacts the experience.
It’s unfortunate to see a place that was once so reliable become unpredictable in this way. I genuinely hope Toshi improves its communication with loyal guests going forward.

This was my first visit to Toshi. Sushi and sashimi are my favorites, and I was pleased that oysters and other seafood options were available during my Saturday dinner. I had planned to enjoy the seafood night using the Entertainer offer. However, at the time of reservation, no one from Toshi informed me about a special Valentine’s package, which turned out to be different from the package I had intended to use. That’s minus points for the staff.
The sparkling drinks were also served very late—only after my bill had already been issued and paid. While the food was excellent, the service did not meet expectations. In addition, the decorations felt quite tacky, and there were no appealing views to enhance the dining experience.

We had birthday celebration for my friend recently. And I really want to thank the manager of the restaurant! He is an incredible person! Unfortunately we didn’t ask his name. But he made a very nice gesture for my friend for her birthday! Also I noticed how he was behaving with other guests and even with some senior people in the restaurant!!! Huge respect and thank you!!!

My third time today at Toshi. This is my most favorite restaurant when it comes to Japanese and even International buffet.
I've always loved the masterpieces of Mama Nata. I love her genuine smile and the way she accommodate the guests.
Tonight, I'm impressed by the service of Zin. She welcomes us with warm smile. Every question, she answers it with enthusiasm.
We were also gladly served by Thiha. He is very accommodating as well.
I have always been in love with Toshi's sashimi, sushi and tartare series. Their live seafood is another thing to highlight. Salad corner and buffet corner is good as well.
I love everything about this place. Their new location at the first floor is grander. This restaurant you should not miss.

My family had made a reservation for me as well, but unfortunately, i was unable to attend due to a work-related issue. There was no mention in the terms and conditions that the reservation was non-refundable. The reason given was that no tables were available, yet arrangements were somehow made later that allowed my cousin to successfully book a table.
I strongly believe there should have been a clear clause stating that the reservation was non-refundable. We were required to pay the full amount at the time of reservation, which I find unfair. While some restaurants request a deposit to secure a booking, it is uncommon to require full payment in advance.
When my cousin requested a refund, we were simply told that the booking was non-refundable. I was also unable to attend due to work commitments. At the very least, a partial refund should have been offered. This entire situation is extremely disappointing, especially since the explanation provided does not seem reasonable or consistent.

By far the worst buffet I’ve ever been to. The selection was extremely limited, and the food quality was downright disappointing. The sushi and sashimi tasted stale. To make matters worse, the price was 309, yet only water was included, no other drinks. I will never return. This place is completely misleading compared to what’s shown on their Instagram page.

The food selection is what truly earns this a five-star rating. The variety is enormous, covering all the highlights of Japanese, Chinese, and Thai cuisine, but the quality never dips.

The new brunch setup is fantastic a great variety of cuisines and an incredible dessert selection where every single item was delicious. The service was also excellent and very attentive.
However, two things really stood out that need improvement. The live music was extremely loud, making it very hard to have a conversation or simply enjoy the meal comfortably. For a brunch setting, a lower volume would make a big difference. The second issue was the ventilation, which unfortunately wasn’t good at all the smoke from the live cooking area filled the restaurant, and the smell stayed on our clothes and hair after we left.
If these two issues can be improved, Toshi’s brunch would truly be a perfect dining experience!

We love to come back here, Great, seafood, live counters and fresh items. Friendly team as always, Great value. Shout out to Rose and Manmai whose always looked after our visits.
Only honest concern is most of our visits we were always seated on a table that wobbles on a different occasion and in restaurants area. Also windows needed cleaning which can affect the guests mood and visual of good ambiance. I hope they fixed it all soon.

I reserved the table here based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We had dinner at the restaurant and chose the open buffet option. My husband ate sushi and raw fish, and the next morning he had severe diarrhea and vomiting. We had to spend our entire Saturday in the emergency room. He was diagnosed with food poisoning and only felt better after receiving IV treatment. I was truly disappointed and I don’t plan to return to this place again.

Yesterday I went to Toshi, this place like my home I have been going there since 2010, the staff there are very good and very helpful, Mr Sheikh and all his team.
The food yesterday was very bad and not worth the money I paid there, I want to give advice to management, if you continue like this it means you want to close the restaurant, and I know Mr Riadh makes a big effort to build this place, to bring its name high in the market, please consider to make our Toshi like it was before, me and my family, friends will be very sad if it closed.

The meal started with refreshing Ramadan beverages, followed by mouthwatering starters like falafel with tahini, cheese sambousek, kibbeh, and spinach sambousek. The salads were impressive with a wide variety, including standout dishes like Cajun roasted potato salad, muhammara, vine leaves, and more. The sushi was a nice twist — instead of the usual, it featured beef, chicken, and vegetable options.
We also enjoyed made-to-order chicken shawarma, fresh saj bread, and the showstopper: Ouzi with fragrant rice and tangy yogurt topping. Other main dishes included chicken lasagne, beef with broccoli, kibbeh, shish barak, kebabs, and many more.
For desserts, we loved the Um Ali, divine fruit tarts, chocolate cake, kunafa, and a variety of Arabic pastries, mini cakes, and Turkish delights.
What made the experience even better was the convenient prayer room just a few meters from our seating area, which made it easy for fasting Muslims during Ramadan. Highly recommended!

I was the first to arrive and stood waiting for the receptionist to seat me. She was about to assist me, but the moment another group walked in, she completely ignored me and went straight to serve them instead. I found this utterly disrespectful.

Toshi has an amazing Pan Asian Night with a big variety of tasty dishes. The sushi is fresh, the noodles are full of flavor, and the curries are delicious. This was absolutely gem and highly recommended to others. For those who wanted some good seafood goodness, this place has what to offer. Came for their seafood buffet night and they had a lot of selections like sashimis, variety of seafood for grilling or frying and lovely environment to dine. I thoroughly enjoy! They also have good chilli sauce Thai style that was spicy and really good kick! Although I am not sure whether it is oysters size in Middle East, relatively small compared to the ones I had in other countries.

Fantastic seafood / Asian cuisine open buffet night. Plenty of original flavor including Thai dishes. I loved in particular Thai tea selection, and live cooking station for Pad Thai and Tom Yum with fresh seafood cooked in front of us. Definitely I will come back to this venue.

I tried the Thai themed buffet on a Wednesday evening and I totally loved it. They had an amazing selection of salads, they had a soup station where they prepared an amazing Tom Yum soup. I also loved the peking duck. The ambiance was great and the service was spot on!

A simple explanation or a better approach to resolving the concern would have made all the difference, but her attitude made the experience frustrating and disappointing.

You ll find all selections of Japanese Flavors here, Dim Sum , Sushi , Fried Rice , chrispy duck and veg rolls and more… the dessert section was endless and I m so happy to find opportunity to discover new Tastes , couldn’t get enough all dishes they served. We have visited this restaurant for many times. The food is good. But today I was deeply hurt by a lady staff. ( Maybe her name is Annie. I forgot.) After my husband paid the bills, we were leaving the restaurant. At the gate she asked me “Already paid?” Why did she ask this question to me? She thought we didn’t pay the bills? If we didn’t pay the bills, we would not leave the restaurant. I think it’s very rude to the guests. It was so disgraceful for me to be asked this question in the presence of many other guests.

I recently visited Toshi for their sushi and sashimi buffet, and I was thoroughly impressed! The selection of fresh sushi and sashimi was outstanding - everything from the salmon to the tuna was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. And the fish is so fresh! They also have so many different rolls, and the variety on the buffet made it easy to try a little bit of everything. Also they have salad bar and so many different desserts, I couldn’t resist it. 😍
Beyond the food, the atmosphere of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The space is serene and inviting, with a calming vibe that makes for a relaxed dining experience. I especially loved the little Buddha statues placed inside, which added a peaceful ambiance.
The staff is also very welcoming and attentive.
Overall, Toshi is a wonderful place for anyone craving delicious sushi and sashimi in a stunning setting. I'll definitely be coming back soon! Highly recommend it.

Very cool and nice seafood buffet in Grand millennium hotel in tecom . I was surprised of sushi taste - it’s amazing , and any sashimi what you can imagine . The most fresh shrimps mussel oysters and shrimps . 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Top Sushi buffet! Amazing all you can eat buffet. There’s a huge variety of sushi and sashimi, fresh meat and seafood for grill, desserts. I haven’t met any similar sushi restaurant for reasonable price. There are life cooking stations, cooks are lovely people. Toshi is dining, not a party place. But there a bar where they serve drinks including Japanese sake.

What a feast! The food was delicious! As a foodie I was so darn happy being there and being able to enjoy all the food. It was honestly hard to choose the foods from the buffet.. I did my best to try as much as possible and I was NOT disappointed. Even the desserts were so many and so delicious. Come to enjoy not only the FRESH foods but also the very nice views😍 Elaisa was amazing in her service and so were her colleagues, thanks for a great night Toshi!

Toshi it’s my most favorite place for seafood and Asian food ( big selection of sushi , sashimi, Asians salads and more ) .. Also have some choice of fresh meat , which you can grill or fried. Smiling staff what is also important for me 😊 Regarding desserts 🍨 you can see unique recipes from chef .. I am visiting plenty of times and will visit again for sure

It's one of my favorite pan-Asian restaurants because of its themed nights like sushi-sashimi and teppanyaki, which always serve consistently flavorful and fresh dishes. I especially enjoy their "cook your way station" which is choosing raw seafood, meat, and vegetables for them to cook, ready in just 15 minutes and bursting with flavor. When I brought my friends, they agreed—it's a perfect spot for gatherings. We opted for the all-you-can-eat option with drinks, perfect for bonding over food and conversation. Plus, they have a separate bar area, which adds to the experience.
The food is consistently delicious, the ambiance is classy with outside views, and there's a wide array of choices for both food and desserts. The staff are attentive and professional. Overall, I highly recommend this place to everyone—it never disappoints!

Toshi is always one of my favorite restaurant for its ambience , service and food . The view from this restaurant is gorgeous. I gave celebrated a friend birthday here and the staffs made it perfect. I really want to mention Dearevic,Stalin,Saju ,Arya , Febi and Ludwa. They are all doing a superb job . The food is yummy and the service is excellent. Highly recommend.

The Chefs that work there are talented. The food is very tasty and the ambience is warm with a lovely view. The sushi sashimi buffet is really the best that you’ll find around in dubai. The rest of the buffet has so many varieties and I always enjoy their live cooking station. Make sure to go during out the week as its not crowded and to have a pleasant experience.

Good food, good ambience. We ordered ala carte but we were able to see a wide variety for buffet also.
We tried the toshi sling, toshi rum as drinks. It wasnt good. Appetizers we tried chicken satay, it was dry. Salt and pepper calamari was good. Main course was kung pao chicken, wok fried chicken, chicken fried rice, pad thai noodles and mee goreng noodles. The mee goreng was a standout dish.

Loved the ambience. It was my birthday and the place was perfect. Specially for a dinner date. They serve buffet as well as ala carte. The sushi was amazing. The food at the buffet was so presentable. Enjoyed the Thai curry as well. They also gave a complimentary pastry for birthday. Will definitely visit this place again to try the buffet. Would only like to recommend the restaurant for better staff service as they took a while to entertain us every-time we called out for someone.

An Amazing Thai restaurant! Located into the beautiful Grand Millennium in Barsha Heights, the restaurant is at the 18th floor. This spot is clean and modern, an it transmits super positive vibes. The staff was very welcoming, and they were careful with every need, also ready to help to download the app (to get a discount). The buffet was amazing, it had appetizers, main courses and desserts: the quality of the food is excellent, in particular I loved the mango salad, the grilled seafood (cooked at the moment), the sushi and the desserts. Also the dim sum were amazing! Considering the price it was a great deal, and they also gave the chance for 25% discount! Super recommended 😍

It’s not the first time I have been to Toshi. Unfortunately from the first time I visited till now the service has taken a turn for worse. However, I can see that the staff are trying their best but it feels like they are understaffed. At least for this particular night.
It still had a nice ambience. Great views. We enjoyed a fresh grill seafood section though it was a bit hidden from the main buffet and discovered it eventually! Overall we still had a lovely night.

The food is authentic and the ambience is excellent with great interior design and views of the city and the sea! AC is super cold though - would suggest to have favourable temperatures considering the staff are wearing coats and long sleeved dressing. Bill and take away food after eating delayed too while there wasn’t many clients. Would recommend for the great food, ambience and choice of music.
